Warranty Term Pillar mattresses are covered by a lifetime limited warranty (“Limited Warranty”) for the original purchaser of the Pillar Mattress. If your Pillar Mattress is found to be defective, it will be replaced or repaired with the same or a comparable model by Pillar Sleep. 

 

- For the first 2 years of the Lifetime non-prorated warranty, Pillar will replace your mattress with a brand new one at absolutely no charge to you if deemed defective.

 

- In years 3-10, Pillar will completely repair and re-cover your Pillar mattress if deemed defective. The only charge to you will be transportation costs of $99 each way. Absolutely no other charges.

 

- In years 11-25, the original owner will pay the prorated replacement charge of fifty (50) percent of the original purchase price for a replacement if deemed defective.

 

- In years 25 and beyond, the original owner will pay the prorated replacement charge of sixty (60) percent of the original purchase price for a replacement if deemed defective.

 

If a Pillar Mattress cover is deemed defective due to faults in material or craftsmanship within one (1) year from the date of the original purchase, Pillar may choose to repair or replace the cover and not the mattress. If the cover is replaced, it will be with the current design, which may be a different material, color, or style than the original cover purchased. The mattress cover is not warranted after one (1) year.

 

Non-Transferable. The Limited Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser. The Limited Warranty is non-transferable and not valid for any additional owners of the Pillar Mattress.

 

Requirements to Return Under the Limited Warranty. Only Pillar Mattresses which meet the following requirements will be replaced or repaired under the Limited Warranty:

 

• The Pillar Mattress – if used correctly on a supportive and proper foundation/base which is substantial enough to support the mattress and its users. Certain body impressions and adaptations take place as your mattress adjusts to your body. This is normal and expected. Any deterioration defined by visible indentations of more than one inch (1.5”) would be covered by the warranty;​

 

• Law labels must be in place. Removal of law labels will void the warranty​

 

Items that are Not Covered. The Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

 

• Damage for failure to use a proper bed frame, including, but not limited to, damage caused by an improper foundation. If using a standard frame, foundation must be supported by a 5 or 6 leg bed frame on queen or larger sizes. For any slatted bases, slats must be no more than 5 inches apart.

 

• A normal increase in softness of the foam which is normal and does not affect the pressure-relieving quality of the mattress

 

• Indentions in the foam less than one inch (1.5”)

 

• Comfort preference over time

 

• Individual or personalized allergies and sensitivities

 

• Physical abuse or damage to the Pillar Mattress and/or cover material, including, but not limited to tears, stains, odors, unsanitary conditions, folds, footprints, burns, cuts, signs of jumping on the bed, rodents, insect damage or other infestation, damage from fluids or damage from weather/sun exposure.

 

• Repair and/or replacement of the seams, zipper assembly, or mattress cover

 

• Faults in cosmetic appearance on the cover such as wrinkles, loose threads, normal wear and tear and naturally occurring blemishes on the cover. Such minor imperfections do not prevent ordinary use and enjoyment of the Product and do not qualify for warranty.

 

• Improper storage or cleaning of product

 

• When using the Pillar products for any commercial use such as rental properties, hotels, schools, AirBnb, Bed & Breakfast, etc.

 

• Damage due to environmental issues such as/but not limited to humid climates and/or areas where the mattress is exploded to excessive water or humidity

 

• Mattresses that were not removed from box within 30 days of receipt

 

• Complementary products provided to reviewers, content creators or otherwise are not eligible for warranty

Original Purchaser. The Limited Warranty is only available to the original purchaser who purchases a Pillar Mattress from an authorized reseller or through the Site. The Limited Warranty does not cover any purchases of Pillar Mattresses from unauthorized resellers and/or any Pillar Mattress that is sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the Pillar Mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”. Any purchases of a Pillar Mattress from an original purchaser will not be covered under the Limited Warranty.

 

Product Replacement Terms. Except as otherwise provided herein, Pillar Technologies will not charge you to repair or replace your Pillar Mattress if it is covered under the Limited Warranty except for a $99 each way shipping fee.  Pillar must arrange the shipping, and the mattress must be deemed to be covered under warranty. If the mattress is considered not to be covered under warranty, the original purchaser will be responsible for all shipping costs. Pillar must in all circumstances arrange the shipping.

 

Warranty on Replacement Products.  The Limited Warranty for the replacement Pillar Mattress only runs from the date of purchase of the original Pillar Mattress. No new Limited Warranty is provided on any replacement Pillar Mattresses. 

 

LIMITED WARRANTY ONLY. THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN AND THE OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES OF PILLAR SLEEP AS STATED HEREIN ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU AND YOU HEREBY WAIVE ALL OTHER REMEDIES, WARRANTIES OR GUARANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS WERE MADE TO YOU OR RELIED UPON BY PURCHASER WITH RESPECT TO THE QUALITY AND FUNCTION OF THE PILLAR MATTRESSES SOLD BY PILLAR SLEEP.
